Originally from Salvador, Bahia Brazil,
Maristela attended many dance schools
and workshops growing up.
She moved to Germany to continue her
career in the entertainment industry.
As a dancer/choreographer she and her
dance group Energia Bahia performed
traditional Brazilian music and dance in
large halls throughout Europe. She
later moved to the United States and
formed Energia Brasil, a musical group
performing popular Brazilian music.
Maristela's previous experience on the
stage served her well as the lead
vocalist and front person for the group
Energia Brasil performed throughout
the southern U.S., in large festivals,
clubs, as well as corporate and private
functions.
Enjoying a new found in love for singing
she expanded her repertoire to include
American pop songs as well. Now as a
part of the acoustic act Acoostica, she
continues to enjoy her love for singing
and dance, performing in a much more
intimate setting.
